This page has been created to let you know about the wonderful people who are currently trying to raise money for us by doing their own sponsored events.

If you wish to support them, please send a cheque to the Animal Centre c/o Sponsored Events and enclose a note telling us which event you are sponsoring.

Alternatively, if there is a link to a Just Giving page, you can donate on-line and we automatically get the gift Aid on the donation if you are eligible.

Maxine Perella Running the ASICS British London 10k 11th July 2010
London Wildcare supporter Maxine Perella will be running the ASICS British 10K London race on 11 July, to help raise money for the charity.

Maxine lives close to the Riverside Animal Centre in Wallington and has brought quite a few injured birds into the centre over the past few years! One good deed deserves another and so she has decided to batter the streets of central London in the hope they will be paved with gold ... or at least a few pennies for one of her favourite causes.

Samantha Ellis, The 3 Peaks Challenge, 19th September 2010
Samantha Ellis is aiming to complete the gruelling 3 peaks challenge in just 24 hours on the 19th September.

walking up Snowdon, Ben Nevis and Scarfell Pike, she intends to raise as much money as possible for the Riverside Animal Centre.

Samatha is a former employee who left in 2006 to start a family but she has retained close links with the charity, helping out with rescues, open days and hosting a release enclosure on her land for foxes, squirrels and birds that have been hand reared by the charity.
