SEASONAL WILDLIFE VOLUNTEERING 2014
We are now recruiting seasonal volunteers for the wildlife unit to work between April and October 2014. You can download an information and application form here which should be printed, filled in and returned by post or by hand. Our first assessment session will be held on Sunday 16th March for candidates passing stage 1. The next assessment session will be held early in April. Thank you.

Pet Lifeline Scheme LogoAt Riverside Animal Centre, we appreciate the difference a loving pet makes to your life if you are an elderly person.

It’s a very special bond, which is why you probably worry about what might happen to your pet if you are taken into hospital or if you have to vacate your home in the event of an emergency such as a flood or fire.

This is where our FREE Pet Lifeline scheme can help*.

Developed with input from local emergency service workers, the scheme provides the following exclusive benefits free of charge to REGISTERED MEMBERS:

Registered Members receive door and fridge stickers alerting Police, Paramedics and Social Workers to call us in the event of an emergency!

bullet point A preliminary Home Visit to take all necessary details about you and your pet(s)
bullet point A guaranteed response, any time day or night, to collect your pets in specified circumstances including emergency hospital admission, fire or flood or in the event of your death
bullet point Up to 10 days* free kennelling whilst you are in hospital or your home is being repaired
*chargeable at £5 per pet, per day thereafter
bullet point Regular updates for you or your family on your pets welfare if you are taken into hospital
bullet point Compassionate re-homing service in the event of your death or your inability to continue to care for your pet
