The Riverside Animal Centre has teamed up with car recovery specialists PPE to raise much-needed cash from selling scrap cars.
Hackbridge based PPE has kindly offered to collect any scrap car for free and pay the charity the value of the car less £25 recovery and transport costs.
The money making initiative was the idea of PPE owner Phil Elliott who has already donated £95 to us after picking-up an unwanted car and selling it for scrap. The scrap value will depend on weight and the current market price, but with so many unwanted cars cluttering up driveways and garages this is a great way for us to earn money.
Phil will collect from the Sutton, Croydon, Merton, Bromley, Wandsworth, Epsom, Kingston, Redhill and Reigate areas.
So if you've got a beaten-up old wreck of a car taking up valuable space or becoming an eyesore on your driveway let us know and we'll arrange for it to be removed for free. Telephone 020 8647 6230.
