The Riverside Animal Centre Cat Unit is now permanently closed to ALL new admissions.

The unit will close on 31st July, by which time we expect all of the cats in our care to have been re-homed.

Our Wildlife Unit will remain open throughout July and August from 9am daily, through until 9pm. Thereafter, the Wildlife Unit will undergo a two week wind-down period, at which time our phone lines will offer a recorded message only, our rescue service will be terminated and the centre will close at 6pm daily.

Thereafter, as of Monday 19th September, the Riverside Animal Centre will be PERMANENTLY CLOSED TO ALL NEW ADMISSIONS.

A new Wildlife Charity will open at our Beddington Park site early in 2017. The charity will offer rescue and rehabilitation services to certain species of wildlife in which it will specialize. It will also operate as an educational and research facility. More details will be posted here towards the autumn as well as a link to the website of the new charity as and when available. The new charity will have no involvement in domestic animal welfare and will be entirely separate from Riverside Animal Centre. The name of the new Charity will be announced in due course.

From 19th September, a list of alternative wildlife rescue centres will be posted here.
