Our London Wildlife Hospital is the largest facility within
the London Wildcare Trust. It’s now one of the largest
and busiest professional wildlife facilities
in the UK, treating thousands of sick,
injured and orphaned animals and birds
every year.

Our expertise is now sought after by a
wide variety of organizations: we regularly
provide specialist training and assistance
to the police and fire services as well as
other national animal groups and private
vets.

The hospital is run by small specialist
team who take charge of the nursing,
rescue and rehabilitation of our patients.
They are ably supported by a band of
more than 100 volunteer workers whose duties include the feeding and cleaning of our animals, general housekeeping and additional rescue cover.
At our hospital you’ll find a whole host of animals at various stages of care, including: foxes, badgers, deer, swans, geese, birds of prey and all types of birds. We also provide special care for smaller mammals, from bats to hedgehogs, from frogs to slow worms.
The hospital comprises several buildings incorporating four specialist wards for birds, waterfowl, mammals and orphans as well as:

Our hospital is funded entirely by donations from the public. To find out how to support us or why not become a member to enjoy a whole range of special benefits.
