London Wildcare Field Centre
Walpole Park, Ealing
We regret to announce that with effect from 13th October
2008, our Field Centre in Walpole Park, Ealing has
permanently closed. Our animals are being relocated to
our principal facility in Wallington, where we have
launched a project to build a new Field Centre, which will
be able to offer a far wider range of educational
opportunities.
We would like to thank all of our past visitors and supporters at Ealing, especially those who have contributed to our recent appeal. Whilst, in an ideal world, we would have loved to retain this site as part of our commitment to London's Wildlife, the current financial climate coupled with the wide seasonal variance in income, has meant that we simply cannot afford to do so.
Anyone finding a wildlife casualty can, of course, take it to our main hospital at Beddington Park, Wallington during normal opening hours. Our Beddington Park Open Day dates are given on our diary page and most of the animals that you have come to love at walpole park can be still be visited when we host one of these events.
Thank you again on behalf of the London Wildcare Team
